Next week we will be going into overdrive preparing for our Winter Concert on December 8th at 7P.M.  Call for students (all classes) is 6:00 P.M. in my room.  The concert is a huge percentage of your grade counting as a major exam.  Missing it would be highly unadvisable.

This Saturday 12 ninth grade ladies from Southwind High School will audition for the All West TN Jr. High Honor Choir.  Auditions will be held at Cordova Middle School on Sanga Rd.  Directions to Cordova along with many other helpful items for the auditions are found under the Practice, Listening, and Helpful information page.  Good Luck ladies!  I know you will do fabulously.

Southwind Senior Singers Alayna Rodgers and Cristal Brown sang solos at the Freedom Forum at Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ this week for such greats as National Freedom Award winner Myrlie Evers-Williams and Legacy Award winner Julius “Dr.J” Erving.  This is a huge honor which these talented singers deserved.  Alayna was even on the front page of the Commercial Appeal!
